Yale People Lisiting Feature

This is what I would like to find out:

Is there a way using the current configuration of the ‘Yale People Listing’ feature to use the Nodequeue module with it? The Nodequeue needs to refer to a specific content type(s) when a queue is being created. I don’t see a way to refer to the ‘User’ profile which is what is being used to add staff members via the Yale People Listing feature. The goal is to have the flexibility to add different ‘weights’ to staff members in how they should be listed within each section of the Staff page.

The only solution I can think of is to create a specific content type and reconfigure the view to accommodate it and then add the appropriate Nodequeues. Can you confirm this is how this should be done or let me know of a better way.
