Issue/Request:

Hi, I have the same issue as the person in this thread but wasn’t able to reply so I opened a new thread. I am not certain about how to resolve the issue since I did delete the default Welcome page in Configuration » System » Site information. Do I just write “Welcome” in the path in the box for default home page that is now empty or do I need to do something else?

Hi Victoria,

You just need to create a blank page if you have no content, then indicate that you want that page to be the home page in Configuration > System > Site Information. There is a section that asks for the URL of your home page. Put the friendly URL that comes after the main domain http://dev.yspa.yale.edu/welcome (in this example just welcome) or use node/# or the node number. Complete instructions can be found on the How-to Guide at the very bottom of this page Initial site setup.
