Display a particular content type full 100% width

I need the display of a single node (all nodes of the content-type module) to display full width 100% with out the side bar region - if you look .region-content is set to ~59% that needs to 100% but I can’t seem to get the CSS right - if there’s another way to do it I’d like to know how you do it.
