People page not showing up

Hi there,

I’m working on building our research team’s site and I can’t seem to figure out the People page! I’ve tagged users as different categories and I enabled the proper modules, but nothing shows up on our People page. Help, please!

Hi Valen,

You are all set, Now your People page shown up there.
The issue was you created another ”People basic page” so the basic page have the people path and people listing views have the same path too so that’s causing the problem I delete “people basic page”, and also you didn’t highlight all “people type” People view>> FILTER CRITERIA: people type to shown up all the people there. Does that make sense?

Thank you SO much! Yes, it all looks great! I’m just trying to figure out how to reorder the categories, so they go like this:

Principal Investigators

Co-Investigators

Research Staff

Graduate Students

Undergraduate Students

Alumni

Would you be able to help me with that, too? I’ve also noticed that when I click on a category, the path right below the main menu isn’t separated out - it’s People Principal Investigators instead of People >> Principal Investigators. Does this matter, or no?

You are very welcome, you are all set I created a link for each people type and I tagged some of the people you have just to show up the people list so you can change them later.

Awesome, thanks! How can I change the order on the main People page so that it is the same order as in the block?

Actually this pages search alphabetically by sort ascending or sort descending, so you can’t change the order.

I’ve been able to do it on other Drupal 7 websites before. See this page:

I think Nancy might have done that for me…any way we could try to rearrange the order on the main People page??

Hi Valen,

I set up Draggable Views on your site, when you add the right people to the list you will rearrange them by the name.
There is a How-To Guide instruction and video in the top right of the tutorial for Draggable Views.
