Hello, I recently acquired this website from someone who’s moved on to another position. I am not trained in the “views” feature in Drupal and need help putting a page together with a view she has already created.

I am looking to put together a new page of Speakers (a view already created and available). How can I create a new page and get the Speakers I want to input to show up on that new page?

Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.

Daniela

Hi Daniela,

I am happy to help with your issue.

To add a new page of Speakers go to Content>> Add Content>> Speakers then you can fill all the fields you need then click save.

Best,

Once I do that, how do I get each Speaker to show up on the same new page, in alpha order?

Adding Speakers is easy enough, but getting them to all show up on a “Speakers” page is confusing to me.

How would I do that?

In “Speakers view” there is two type of page created there one is “Past Magazine Speakers Pagehttp://publishing-course.yale.edu/speakers/past-magazine and the other one is “Past Book Speakers Pagehttp://publishing-course.yale.edu/speakers/past-book, both pages displaying all item and alpha order. When you add new speakers you have “Speaker Type” fields when you choose the type it will show automatically in speakers page.
