Webform Results Download Error

It’s come to my attention that when site editors on both the Economics (economics.yale.edu) and Cowles (cowles.yale.edu) sites try to download results from a webform (either in .xlsx or .csv format), an error occurs and and no data is downloaded to the spreadsheets.  I, however, do not have issues downloading files - this may be due to my elevated user role as an administrator.

After searching the Drupal forum, it appears this is a known issue and it can be resolved by changing the webform export path (see response #12 for our issue and response #9 for resolution. Also #14 may be of interest): https://www.drupal.org/node/2402663

Nota bene: I did some additional testing and it appears that .xlsx and .csv files will download if they are renamed before doing so, BUT, only if the file name remains the same with a slight modification, e.g., a number being placed before the title.  If, however, the user has not configured his/her browser settings to NOT automatically download files to the default directory, the error occurs.  Thus, it appears the Drupal server balks if the same file (or file with the same name) is trying to be downloaded.

I should also note that this behavior is happening on three different staff member computers with the same result. Would it be possible to verify the webform export paths on our sites and, if necessary, change them to the recommended path listed in the forum?

Thanks,

Matt Regan
