Issue/Request:
I am working on a form in development mode (that I will copy to production mode once I have worked everything out). I would like to know if I can make the form, at http://dev.gsi.yale.edu/girls-science-investigations-registration-form-2…, available to the submitter for them to use to confirm their attendance.
Thank you,
Daphne
Hi Daphne,
So you are saying that after someone has registered, you want them to go back to the form the day of the conference and click on something that indicates they have attended? If that is correct, remind me if the people submitting the form have a Yale NetID. If there is no required login, then they won’t be able to go back to their form because there is no way to restrict access without a user ID. Does that make sense?
Nancy,
I do want those who have registered to be able to go back to their application and confirm that they will be attending the session. None of them are Yale affiliates so will not have CAS log-in. If this is not possible that is okay.
Daphne
Sorry Daphne for the delayed response. It’s not possible for a person who is not logged in to go back to their form and edit it. The only way that the system can “know” the person and allow them to only update their form, would be for them to log in.
I hope that makes sense.
