View as a Grid Issue

To whom it may concern,

On the “Religious Literacy” page of my website, the images of the symbols are not all the same. When I created them on Thursday, they were all the same. If I view the page in IE or Firefox, then they look the  same, albeit a bit large. However, in Chrome (the browser I used to make the content), 1 column is suddenly larger than the rest. The page is a custom view.

1. How can I keep the images the same size?

2. Would it be possible to create a grid with 4 images in one row, 5 in another, and 4 in the last row?

Thanks,

Christian

Hello Christian,

I believe this is caused by the image size. If you notice, the images go past the content region to the right. Maybe it would be best to create an image style of 200x200. I’d give that a try first before playing around with the view settings.

Hi Josue,

I changed the image sizes to thumbnail (100x100), and now the columns are acting weird. When you’re not logged in, one column is wider than the other across all 3 browsers. However, when you log in, the column sizes randomly change when you click refresh. Is this a bug? Or is it linked to the sorting of the images?

Hello Christian,

After a little testing, I found that this is caused by the titles. Specifically the ones that have more than one word. If you select to hide the title from the display, you will see everything line up properly. Let me dig a little deeper to see if I can find a workaround.

All set. I made the title all H6 and they are now showing of equal sizes. Let me know if that works on your end.
