View format: Slideshow ?

I am trying to get our “Highlights” view block to act like the “Recent Publications” slideshow on the History home page (history.yale.edu). I’ve set up a new Content Type (“Highlights”) and created a View Block, but I don’t see “slideshow” as one of the Format options (even though this is the setting that history is using).  It’s currently set to FlexSlider, which is not what we want, since we don’t want the slideshow delay of “Highlights” to be the same as the “Rotating Header Image” block, and we don’t want the goofy blue arrows, blue dots below, etc. Is there a module that we’re missing?

We also want the body text to appear below the image as a caption, and to be able to click on the image to see the full story.  (Also, do we have to re-upload our images at a smaller size, since it looks like it’s loading the raw image and just scaling it using html, which will increase load time, yes?)
