Using a URL redirect before going live

I just had http://dev.joy.yale.edu/ provisioned for an initiative project. The office that is running this initiative would like to temporarlily have the URL http://joy.yale.edu point to this page: http://faith.yale.edu/joy/about until they are finished working on the Dev.joy site and launch it under the url joy.yale.edu.
Is it possible to have a temporarly URL redirect from http://joy.yale.edu to http://faith.yale.edu/joy/about ?
Looks like this is resolved. When I click on http://joy.yale.edu it points to http://faith.yale.edu/joy/about. Am I correct in understanding the issue? Please let us know if you still need help.
