Trying to enable Yale Rotating Feature module

Issue/Request:

I’m trying to follow the instructions to enable and then create Yale Rotating Feature module, but it is not listed under Features in modules and actually not anywhere in modules that I can see. Do I need to do some kind of update to have this as an option? Here’s the guide I’m referring to: http://yalesites.yale.edu/book/rotating-feature-slideshow

I would be more than happy to help you. Can you please provide me the url of the site you are working on ? also add me as an admin my net Id is ar997.

What I usually do to find features on modules I press CTRL + F > a little search bar will appear in the right corner and you can search for a word . Try that out and if it doesn’t work please add me as an admin and I will look into it.

The issue was the your site never had its updates deployed. We solved the issue and now you should be able to find the module that you were looking for. If you still experience any problems please let me know. Otherwise I will consider this as resolved.

Hi Alejandra,

Thanks for this. I’m working to post some rotating features now. One thing I noticed though is that the HTML tags I use for page breaks are showing up all over the website since this update. Is there an easy way to fix this? Also, it looks like the order of things on my People pages reset themselves too, I tried to fix that to the best of my memory. Are there any other changes I should look out for with this update?

We are working on figuring out why this is happening, Is not usual and we looking into it. I will keep you posted

Hi Dana,

It looks like this would only affect really old sites where people put HTML tags into the WYSIWYG editor while not in source mode as an unintended consequence of fixing a security issue.

I wouldn’t expect you’d see this happen again but If you have html in any other section on the site. it might be showing now.
