Social media buttons configuration - LinkedIn

Dear YaleSites Staff,

I’m configuring the social buttons at the bottom right of our Yalesites page and have added a button for our LinkedIn account, but can’t seem to figure out how to change the icon from the default Facebook “F” to the “in” for Linkedin. If you could advise, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you for getting back to me. How do I add you as a user for the site? Is it through the “Add CAS username” function? If so, what is your CAS username?

All you have to do is look for my name under People, then assign me the Administrator role.

Hello Fedor,

The Social Media icons used in the YaleSites templates are located in a sprite image, which contains the images for Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Apple, & YouTube. If you want to add one other than the default, your best option is to create a block with the appropriate icons and assign it to the Footer Third region.
