We are trying to get our local version set up based on the instructions for getting a site backup (http://yalesites.yale.edu/book/getting-site-backup). However, with multiple NetIDs (wmf6, jc3332) we get the following error message:

Could not connect to Active Directory. Please check your network connection.
The netID entered does not appear to be valid. Please try again.

Having used this system to get a backup from another YaleSites dev site with the same NetID, I think the first error - the problems with connecting to the Active Directory - must be the problem. Any advice for how to sort this out?

I’m also seeing the same error on the Hixon Center YaleSite (http://hixon.yale.edu/).

When attempting to authenticate using our NetID, it returns the same message as above.
