select list of states in webform?

I’m currently building a registration webform for a summer event and am asking for the registrant’s address. Is there an automatically filled out “select list field” that I can use that has all the states already populated so that the user just has to select their state? I thought there was, but I can’t find it.

There is a field name “Select List” in the webform. Please see my image below:

Hi Marwa - yes, I do see the “select list” option/button/field. I thought there was a pre-filled / pre-populated set of States that we could use. A select list that has all 53 states entered so that you don’t have to enter them all yourself.

Do we not have this?

Hi Lisa,

In order to build the Webform quickly with all the options, you need to download the module Form Builder Webform UI. But if you need the state listing and the country listing then you have to build the form without the module. 

Simply follow the steps below:

  • If you have enabled “Form Builder Webform UI” module, please disable the module.
  • Create new component name “States”>> Type “Select Option” - then Add.
  • Option setting - ”Load a prebuilt option list” - select US States.
  • Display setting check in “Listbox” and change Label Display to “Inline”.
