Hello,

I’m interested in embedding a PDF on the Encounters website (www.encounterschinese.com). However, I would like to make sure that this PDF cannot be downloaded, and that file cannot be accessed independent of the page on which it has been embeded. Do you have any recommended solutions? My goal here is to embed a PDF of the eBook for this title, and then apply permission-based restrictions on the page so that only users with the correct permissions can access the ebook, as embedded on the page.

Hello Thomas,

The current option we have for embedding PDF’s doesn’t fully prevent downloading. The options would be to use a 3rd Party tools. Another option you might try is to secure your PDF or PW protect to prevent downloading. See if that works.
