rotating image feature type

Hi Josue,

I would like to set up a rotating image block to be viewed on the home page- in addition to the header. I would like this to appear under out contact us block. I looked through the other support questions. Do you need to create another field?

Hello Denise,

I’ve added a Feature Type option to your Rotating Header Image which allows you to separate your images into the Type you want to display. I noticed you already had cloned the block so I changed the name to Sidebar Block and filtered those by Feature Type of Sidebar. The main images are set to Feature Type of Home.

When you add images, make sure you set their Feature Type accordingly so they show up where you want them. I hope this helps.

Hi Josue,

Thanks for your help thus far. I’m in need of more assistance. I’m not sure how to get the side bar rotating images to appear on my front page. I’ve created a block w/ place holder information but I can’t figure out how to get this new feature type of Rotating image side bar to appear in the block I created.

Hello Denise,

You go to Structure > Blocks and scroll down to the disabled blocks. You will find a block called View: Rotating Header Image: Sidebar - Block. This block was created by the Rotating Header Image view. Configure the block and assign it to the Sidebar Second region. Make sure you assign where you would like the block to be displayed in the Show block on specific pages section.
