Rotating Header Image & Event Content Type

Hi,

I am currently working on a dev site for the Parents Leadership Council site. I have run into two small issues that I was hoping you could help me resolve.

Rotating Header Image - is there a way to move the arrows to the lower right corner rather than the upper right corner? I have seen the arrows positioned in the lower right corner with the rotating feature view but cannot seem to position this way with the rotating header.

Event Content Type - When I upload new content using the event content type (which I adjusted to meet our needs), it is prompting me to preview the content and then after previewing the content I am then allowed to save the content. How can I adjust the content type so I can just save the content rather than preview and then save? I have never had this happen with a content type so I am unsure how to fix this.

Thanks

Hi Devin,

The event content type is fixed - it was set to require previews.

Looking into the rotating header.

Alyssa

Hi Alyssa,

I was just checking in to see if you had a chance to look into my rotating header question.

Thanks
-Devin

Hi,

I was just checking in to see if anyone has had a chance to look into whether the controls for the rotating header can be moved to the bottom left corner of the header rather than the top left corner.

Thanks
-Devin

Hi Devin,

Apologies for the delay - I was out of the office! I’ll take another look at this.

Best,

Alyssa

Hi Alyssa,

No problem. I completely understand. I just went to the dev site and noticed that there seems to be an issue with the rotating header. The first image in the nodequeue is not displaying correctly. Have you been trying anything on the site? If not, do you know what might be causing this issue. I have not worked on the site in over a week.

Thanks
-Devin

Hm, no I haven’t touched anything with the images but I can restore to a few days ago when it was displaying properly and that might fix the issue.

Hi Alyssa,

Thanks for confirming. The issue was a little odd as no one had been working on the site. If possible, could you restore the site from a few days ago. I am not sure when the issue began as I just noticed it yesterday.

Thanks
-Devin

Okay I’ve just restored and that seems to have fixed it on my end - can you confirm?

Hi Alyssa,

Thanks for restoring the site so quickly! Everything looks normal on my end in both Firefox and Safari.

Thanks
-Devin

Ok great. Sorry this is taking so long! I’ll ask around to see if there’s another way to do this that I’m overlooking with the settings.

Hi Alyssa,

Thanks for the update. The site does not need to go live until the end of the month so it is still a work in progress.

Thanks
-Devin

Hi Devin,

To position the arrows bottom right corner, we need to change flex slider into slideshow under view format setting.

Thank you.
