Is there any way to add a rotating banner to a sub-page in the physics site? This would be separate from the rotating banner on the front page.

Thank you,
Daphne

Hi Daphne,

I am glad to help you with you issue, can you provide me with access my NetID mk858.

Best,

You are all set with administrative privileges. The page in question is not published.

Daphne

Hi Daphne,

Yes, you can add another rotating header image by following this structure:

  • Add new field with field type “list (text)” with check boxes/radio buttons>> Add Allowed Values list (the pages name which you want to show up the rotating header image on it). I created the field for you under “Header Tags” field just you need to add Values list.
  • Add new block for your Rotating header image “view” with the same fields and add the new field I created for you for filter criterion and configure the field by highlight the page name you want to show the rotating header image on it from options.
  • The last step you need: configure the block from Structure>> Blocks >> change the Region and show the block on specific pages.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Marwa,

I tried what you said and it doesn’t seem to work.

Daphne

You are all set now, you added the values listed by the wrong way. I just fix that for you and added by the right way then I fix the views block too.

Marwa,

I forget to mention, I tagged some of images you have from rotating header image for your both pages: “Home” and  “Innovative teaching” so you can go through these images and tag them again.

Best,

Thank you for this. A further problem has cropped up in that any submenus do not show up on this page. Is there any way to fix this?

Thank you,
Daphne

I fixed for you.

Thanks,

Thank you!

Daphne

You are very welcome, I am happy we could help you.

Marwa,
