Restricted calendar events

Is there a way to setup up certain events in the calendar that are visible only to those in the physics department? Either through CAS login or by a list of allowed people - based on the people list.

We would like to have a way to let members of the physics department know about events that are not relevant to the public - such as faculty meetings, external reviews, etc. We will keep the bedework feed for public events.
