Request for office hours

Hi all,

I’m currently building the new website for my research lab (dev.intergroup.yale.edu). I already worked with Josue during the open YaleSites Lab (very helpful!), but would like to meet again to tackle more issues. Preferably, I would like to meet with Josue again, but I’m open to work with other YaleSites experts as well. I will need at least 1-2 hours to tackle all my questions.

Most of my questions pertain to aesthetics, including the following:

1. How to fix the incorrectly displayed breadcrumbs on the “People” page
2. How to use the “draggableviews” module to change the order of the people types on the “People” page
3. How to create a dropdown menu that allows users to jump to anchors on the “Publications” page
4. How to change the text on the protected node landing page (i.e., where the password is entered)
5. How to change the favicon
6. How to restore the missing social media icon (I accidentally deleted one, some time in the beginning)

Other questions pertain to features/functions, including the following:

1. How to authorize users (i.e., those people listed on the “People” page) to make changes to their profiles, but not other aspects of the website
2. What the point is of linking user profiles to their CAS accounts
3. How to store PDFs and other files on the server, as well as how much webspace we have
4. How to prevent direct access to pages without first entering the password on the (protected) parent page
