To Whom It May Concern:
I would like to request that the peaceways.yale.edu site go live. The site needs to be reviewed by members of the Early Childhood Peace Consortium for 1-2 weeks. I understand that the live site can be password protected so only these people can view it. Once the review period has concluded, it may be best to return the site to development mode as the title and .org url will change per the Committee’s final decision in these regards.
I will need guidance in password protecting the live site.
Please let me know how soon this request can be processed.
Very best,

Please complete the Go Live Request form and your site will be put in the queue.
To Whom It May Concern,
I have been asked to provide my supervisors with an update re this go live request. Were we able to make the Thursday (last night) deadline for today’s launch, or will we need to look to next Tuesday’s deadline?
Many thanks,
Shemrah
Hello Shemrah,
Your site has been deployed to peaceways.yale.edu. If you want to block it form the outside world, you can put it in Maintenance Mode for the time beign.
Josue
Thank you, Josue. You are phenomenal! I need for 5-12 people only to view the live site for 1-2 weeks, so I need to provide them with a password. Can I do this with the site in maintenance mode? If so, can you tell me how to put the site into maintenance mode and then how to generate a general password?
Because Peaceways will not be the final site url, the site will need to return to dev mode until I am provided with the final site title and url. When it does go live for the public, we will provide you with the .org alias.
Many thanks,
Shemrah
Hello Josue,
I have put the live site into maintenance mode. I noticed your hyperlink above and so access the instructions.
I am now it the process of password protecting the entire site. It appears from the tutorial that Nancy shared with me that I must password protect every page, correct? So, when a focus group person enters the password to see the site, will they see the entire site or will they have to enter in the password re every page they want to see? This is not made clear in the tutorial.
Thank you,
Shemrah
dear Josue,
I am working fast as I know your unit ends Friday’s at 4:30pm.
I am confused by Global Password Handling in the Protection Node. Options are:
1. Per node password
2. Per node and global password
3. Global password only
Note, the focus group participants only need to see the site. I am the only one who manages the site at this time. What option should I choose? I am hoping that Global password will apply to the entire site vs. me having to protect every webpage.
Please advise,
Shemrah
