Replacement photos not showing up in rotating header

Good afternoon. I am beginning to replace photos in the rotating header on my site and they are not showing up in the slideshow. The one I just added is called “SnowHeaderGrow”. I see it in the dashboard and when I go to edit, it is there as I set it up. I even changed the authoring date to 15-1-21 because it had an older date on it, but still, I do not see it. Unless I have to log into and out of the site? I did have success earlier with a shot of Joan O’Neill — not sure why. Thanks.

Hi Linda,

There is no problem with the image the problem you have a 13 “rotating header image content” and you have in the view  ”Display a specified number of item| 6 items” with “Sort descending” so the image you replaced today is new image and the author date it will work automatically with the date you replace it. Or you can delete some of image you have in the “Rotating Header Image content”and keep 6 image can rotate.

Marwa, thanks for answering my question. Not sure I understand, though.

When you say that I have a 13 “rotating header image content” do you mean that I have 13 published rotating header images but only 6 slots?

So, if I change the # or put in 0, then will all the published images that I have in the dashboard show up? O

I only want certain photos to show up in the rotating header, not all the ones in the dashboard.

One other thing: I did delete one of the pictures from the dashboard, but after I did, the newest picture I uploaded did not show up.

Thank you Linda for your question, what I mean you have 13 content in “rotating header images ”  http://dev.grow.itsyouryale.yale.edu/#overlay=admin/content and the view have ”Display a specified number of item| 6 items” with “Sort descending”, so it is show just the last 6 image and if you change for display all item it will display all the 13 image. Also you can delete the image you don’t need and keep just 6 image can rotate.
