I am trying to remove the Mail Order column (last column on the right) in the table. I removed the taxonomy in the Fields section “mail order”. And when I preview it in the Live preview in the edit page, the column is gone. But, on the site, it is still there.

Hi Heather,

I’m not seeing the column in the live view or in edit mode. D6 has a 5 minute delay on content being visible once it’s published. Maybe that was the problem?

I just checked both on my laptop and a co-workers and it is still there (I was so excited to think it had worked!). It is in the sec ond table on that page, the column to the far right.

Sorry, I was looking at the wrong table. I think that you removed it but didn’t save the View, because the View was locked when I tried to edit it. I broke the lock and removed the column, so it should be all set now.

Thank you - how did you remove the column? (For my future reference.)

In the list of fields of the View, click on the field name to display the View configuration. Directly below, you will see a check box Exclude from Display. Just click on that and the field will not display in the View.
