Refreshing dev site

Hello,

Before I request a site refresh, I wanted to know if refreshing the dev site will pull events/news, etc into the dev site from the live site (old theme). I don’t want to have to add events and news manually since it’s already on the live site. Will refreshing the dev site pull the current info from the live site? We’re not ready to go live with the dev site just yet, so we are still using and maintaining the old theme. I just wanted to make sure that by refreshing the dev site, it will do what I want it to do.

Hi Robyn,

Refreshes copy the content from the live site into the dev site so that you can work with the most recent content. After the refresh, if you add anything new to the live site, you will have to add them onto the dev site as well so that the content is not lost when you go-live again.
