reCaptcha not blocking spam

Hi,

I’m hoping you can help. The Contact form is getting inundated with spam submissions even though I have setup reCaptchua. when I go to the page https://ism.yale.edu/contact-ism I see the checkbox that is required to indicate it’s not a robot, but we are still getting spam. https://ism.yale.edu/contact-ism#overlay=node/62/webform-results/table

Is there something I’m doing wrong? Please let me know. I appreciate your help.

Hi Nancy,

You can enable the Honeypot module which works in conjunction with reCAPTCHA. It adds a hidden element to the form and if bots fill it in, they get rejected. If it is a human filling the form out, then we won’t be able to do much since they won’t see the hidden field and can likely correctly answer a captcha if challenged.
