Rebuild permissions

Issue/Request: 

I need to hide a file behind a CAS wall.  I am following the instructions and am trying to add Content Access.  When doing so, I was told that I needed to rebuild permissions.  When trying to rebuild permissions, I received this prompt:

This action rebuilds all permissions on site content, and may be a lengthy process. This action cannot be undone.

I just want to make sure that nothing bad will happen if I do this.  My content and CSS will remain?

Hello Etienne,

Any time you enable or disable a module, Drupal has to rebuild permissions based on the usage of these modules. Some modules require special permissions to work properly and some don’t. The Content Access module is one of them. You should be ok. Just be sure you are the only one on the site when you do select “Rebuild Permissions”.
