putting a page behind CAS

Issue/Request: 

I just put a page behind CAS(dev.hipaa.yale.edu/cas?destination=policies-procedures/tracking-management-business-associates)  to protect it and uploaded files.  I followed the instructions for “Creating al Link that redirects to Cas”.  If this page is behind CAS, are both the page and the uploaded files protected from being found via a Google search? Please let me know if this is the corrct way to put the page behind CAS and protect the uploaded files that are on the page.

From home page at http://dev.hipaa.yale.edu, under Key Links, click Business Associates, should then be asked for a CAS login, once entered should take you to page titled “Tracking and Management of Business Associates”.

Hi Mary Ann,

You can restrict access to pages on your site using the Content Access module, but this does not prevent anyone from viewing files that have been uploaded on those pages. In order to so this, the field used to upload the file needs to be set as “private” when it is created. Some site configuration must be done to make the private option available.

I would like to set up office hours to set up the BAA lists as Private files.

I did read through the information on YaleSites, but this is not something I am comfortable doing solo. And I am not sure if additional steps might be needed since this the files already exist on the HIPAA site.

Please let me know the availability of office hour times.
