Hello,
I am working on the dev site for the new Astronomy page http://dev.astronomy.yale.edu/people and our people page is showing the images very large and grainy. Is there a way to set the photos to a specific size ratio so that they display uniformly and clear. We’d like it to look similar to the Physics People page: https://physics.yale.edu/people
Thanks!
Robyn
OK, I managed to get them to show smaller, now I need to work on the formatting to appear like Physics.
Hi Robyn i’m not seeing large images. Is this fixed?
Hi Chao, yes I was able to change the size of the images. I am now working on the formatting. Seems like the right column is wider than the left. Any ideas why? http://dev.astronomy.yale.edu/people
Hi Robyn,
Sorry takes this long to reply. Didn’t get any notifications when replied. Regarding on the columns. YaleSites used 12 column system. In this case, the right column looks like using 3 column and left column using 9 column. If you like to change the settings of the column you can control it by go to Appearance > Settings > YaleSites 2016 Wide
Then under Zone and region configuration Tab > Content Section > Content Zone > Regions. From here there should be a content and sidebar first region. Click on the arrow to expand down and from there you can change the width of the column. Click save when done.
I recommended to keep it as YaleSite default. Changing width column may break pages if you’re not sure what’s going on.
Best
