Pages display under different headings

Under People>Faculty, We would like to have 2 subgroups: CRISP Faculty and CRISP affiliated faculty. Please advise. Thank you

If you can walk me thought all the steps, would great.

Hi Halima,

  • I added 2 subgroups (CRISP Faculty and CRISP affiliated faculty) to the People Type field.
  • Added link for 2 subgroup and reorder them in the menu link.
  • Edit the view>>Configure filter criterion: User: People Type>> Highlight (2 subgroups: CRISP Faculty and CRISP affiliated faculty).

I added two sample of people to the subgroup you can change them.

Thank you veru much for your help.

I added 2 subgroups under People>Postdocs, please look at the website.

I tried to add the fields CRISP Postdocs and CRISP affiliated postdocs, I don’t think it’s working?

I believe once added, they will  appear in people type and i should highlight them?

Please advise.

You are very welcome, we glad because we can help you.

For the 2 subgroup under People> Postdocs you added, neither of those it not will work because the first one  you added like a link and the second one you added like basic page.

I added 2 subgroups for you already,for the next time you can follow this structure:

  • Add the subgroup to the People Type field by Configuration>> People >> account setting>> Manage Field >> People Type (then add the group to Allowed values list option).
  • Edit the view>> (Configure filter criterion: User: People Type)>> Option (Highlight 2 subgroups).
  • add link for the subgroup and re-order them.
