page invisible but why?

Dear Yale Sites Team,

today my PI came to me in a sort of panic that his personal page was suddenly missing, http://rsl.yale.edu/people/lab/faculty#overlay-context=people/the-lab&ov…, while he just sent funding agencies the link to this site for his cv….

I checked in the cas, but it says the site is published and linked in the menu, however, we don’t seem to see it anymore.

Would you know what’s gone wrong?

Hello Stephanie,

I believe this is a combination of issues. The page URL is people/lab/faculty, which i doubt you want his page to have that URL. You’d most likely want that path to direct you to a list of people. I also noticed there is no menu block for all these people types so there is no way to navigate to them. Maybe it was deleted? 

I noticed these pages are created as Basic Pages. We strongly suggest using the People feature since it has a lot of pre-built functionality such as blocks and views that automatically generate for easier navigation.
