ordering people type by custom order (not alphabetical)

Hi Yalesites,

I have the same question as this person: namely how to order the People Types on my YaleSite so they display in a custom order (Core Faculty, Affiliated Faculty, Visiting Faculty… etc.) rather than in alphabetical order.

Dear Pratima:

I set up this view the same way as the site mentioned in the forum post you linked. You will have to go through and edit those people and select the same People Type option in the People Taxonomy field.
