Node Embed disabled

I was tryign to embded a node for a slideshow on a new page, and I noticed the button to embed a node was missing from the toolbar. I tried to follow the instructions at https://yalesites.yale.edu/module-tutorials/node-embed to make it appear again, to no avail. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Before I look into this, it seems like you’re implying the button to embed a node was visible on the site before, and has since disappeared. Is that right? I looked on the backend and confirmed that the module was enabled, so I want to make sure that this was something that worked until recently.

Exactly. The button was there before. It had been some months since I had last been on the site, but it was definitely visible previously. We use the node embed to insert galleries and video all the time.

Okay, thanks for clarifying! I’ll look into whether anything in the last couple of months could have caused compatibility issues with the module. I hope to have an update for you soon!
