newsletter system broken

I have this newletter subscription form I am working on.

http://people.earth.yale.edu/admin/structure/views/view/simple_news/edit…

I added Data export - Geochem.   and gave it a term ID of 17.

when I go to http://people.earth.yale.edu/admin/config/services/simplenews

and mouse over geochem  the link points to http://people.earth.yale.edu/admin/config/services/simplenews/categories…

instead of http://people.earth.yale.edu/admin/config/services/simplenews/categories/17/edit

how can I change the 31 to point to 17?

Hello David,

Editing the Geochem Newsletter category gives you an ID of 36. The ID is randomly generated by Drupal based on the order of creation and cannot be changed in the individual category/item. You might be able to change it in the view “Data export - Geochem”, you might be able to set it to 36 so that it works. Give that a try.
