need to remove text-wrap around image

Hi,

I’d like some help troubleshooting a text-wrap issue we’re encountering on our website. 

In the screenshots below, you will see that body text is wrapping underneath the landscape thumbnail on the left. Ideally, we’d like it to be an image on the left and title and teaser text on the right, in two neat columns. I’ve tried multiple attempts on how to fix this and my only solution was to add padding-bottom to the image which would force all of the text away from the bottom. But, because we want it to be as responsive as possible, we want to avoid using tables and padding and stick with the unformatted list in the view settings. 

Is there any way around this??
