The Mobile view is not showing for two YaleSites.

http://uep.yale.edu

http://ccr.yale.edu.

I have already requested a refresh for both.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Michael, I tested this on my computer and both are showing up fine in mobile. What type of device are you testing on?  Is this happening with the other sites that you have created in the page?

Hi Nancy,

Thanks for checking. I am using an iPhone.

More specifically, I should say the responsive view is not functioning.

For comparison purposes, this site, http://sociology.yale.edu, displays in responsive mode. The two recently launched siteshttp://uep.yale.eduhttp://ccr.yale.edu, while showing in browser mode on the iPhone, do not show responsive. Hope this helps.

Tanks again.

M

Thanks that is helpful. What are you using to see the iPhone view in a Browser.

“What am I using to see the iPhone view in a Browser?”

Hmmm…

That’s a new one for me.

My hand?

:-D

But seriously, I’m using the built-in browser app that comes with iPhones. Safari.

I’m asking if you are using some other device checking software or site in the event that the site might be the problem.  When I check it on my iPhone, the mobile view is fine. What OS does your phone have.

I’m using iOS 9.1.

This morning, I noticed the site, UEP.yale.edu is showing partially correct in Responsive view, with the exception of the “Workshop” page.

The Workshop page is constructed in a table. I hope this is not a performance shortcoming with Drupal, because I do not have another design approach that has worked as well as the table here. Further, while the “Archives” page also uses a table, but does not suffer from the same display error.

The site, CCR.yale.edu still does not show responsive view.

Thank you!

I’m afraid that tables are not responsive and therefore it is recommended to not use them or not expect them to display properly on at smaller device. I wish I had a solution but at this point we don’t.
