Missing YaleSites 2016 Wide (default theme) in region for social buttons

Hi, we’re trying to get our social button to display white and have copied the work on another site but the only difference we can see, that may cause the button not to display correctly is that the region in the configure block does not have the YaleSites 2016 Wide (default theme)

Hi Bjorn,

This site actually doesn’t have the 2016 themes enabled. You would need to submit a site refresh ticket and have the 2016 themes added, https://yalesites.yale.edu/refresh-my-site. It is currently selected on this site under Appearance > Design options, but it should be set under just “Appearance” but it has not been configured yet. After that refresh is done that should resolve the issue.

Best,

Alyssa

Hi Alyssa,

Thanks for the answer. I’m close to having finsihed the transition to YaleSites 2016 wide after a lot of work, that’s what I have selected in https://dev.classics.yale.edu/design-options-2016, if you take a look. Will refreshing, as you suggest, endanger any of the work I’ve done?

Best,
bjorn

It’s possible that we can configure the theme on the site without having to refresh from prod again - I will double check.

Alyssa

That would e super — i did request that 2016 themes be added last night….

Hi Alyssa — ITS didn’t seem to add the 2016 themes… did you by any chance hear anything back on the request?

Thanks!
Bjorn

Hi Bjorn,

The ticket is still in our queue; it’s a bit backed up right now but we will try to get to it today. Thank you for your patience!

Alyssa

Thanks, Alyssa — I see that it’s up!
