I have successfully implemented the superfish menu to allow dropdowns. I’d like the items “support”, “connect”, and “engage” to simply be menu headings, not links to a page. Is there a way to do this?

Unfortunately, there is not a way to do that. What we suggest as a work around, is to have the parent item in the menu link to the first item on the superfish drop-down. In other words, the menu item and the first child item (in the drop-down) will point to the same page.
