menu appear on indvidual people page

I’ve been trying to keep the side menu on the People page appear as you click on each individual name’s own people page. We would like it to continue to show the menu links for Faculty, Graduate Students, Affiliates & Researchers, and Officer’s and Staff. We would like it to appear as it does on the main People page and on the main page for each sub group and now to carry over to the individual person’s page.

Hello Denise,

The default Menu Block does not go that far down to display 3 levels down. The alternative is to use a view. There was a pre-built view I have assigned to your 3rd level people page. Let me know if that works. You’d have to update the view to only show the people types you want to show.

Thanks for your help. Is there any way for you to look at the history.yale.edu website and see if we can match the people menu settings to appear as it does on that site? If you need special access I can ask my colleague to add you.

Hello Denise,

They actually created a new Menu called People. They then assigned the block to the people pages. You can try recreating that. I think it would work better than the standard menu block since it does not allow you to drill down that far and using a view block will not allow to reorder the people types accordingly.
