Main menu update does not save

Issue/Request:

Can you please look into a problem faced on the Yale Hospitality dev website.

The Hospitality menu admin page cannot be modified. On clicking the Save configuration button, the page reloads, but without saving any changes.

(Yes, I am aware that this menu is really large).

My guess is that we need to increase one or both of the PHP settings: ‘Maximum input variables’ and ‘Maximum size of POST request.’

My understanding is that Vincent Massaro is already working on this.

In any case, it would be inappropriate for me to provide you access to the site without knowing your capacity at Yale, and without approval from Yale ITS, or the owner of the site.

I understand your apprehension regarding giving Admin access to people in general. I have the permission to support YaleSites Forum. I am a part of Yale ITS and supporting the forum is one of my job responsibilities. I configure with Vincent he is working on your website.

Thanks Vincent. The Menu functionality is working again. We confirmed on Monday.

If it’s no trouble, could you please summarize what Acquia support did to solve the problem. When I have encountered the problem in the past, it was resolved by adjusting PHP memory settings.
