Location/path bar not pointed to correct basic page

Underneth the menu block on the basic pages, there is text that describes the location/path of the user within the site (I do not think it is a block). Currently, all of the basic pages have “Home > Calendar” instead of “Home > About Us” if you are on the About Us page, etc.

I see that there is a “Location” field in the Basic Page managament, which I think is related, but cannot find the source of this problem.

Dear Danielle:

It looks like you may be referring to the Breadcrumbs. Can you grant me admin access to the site so I can take a look? My NetID is ad949.

Best,

Alyssa

I think that I found the cause of the problem, which seems to be the Calendar block. If you look at this test page I created (http://dev.yppdo.yale.edu/testing-page) the “Home>Calendar” breadcrumb is no longer there and now displays the proper page title.

I’m not sure why this is happening, but I’ll keep digging. In the meantime, if you want that to go away you can hide that block on those pages.

Hi Danielle,

There was a setting in the Calendar view that I had to remove - the breadcrumbs are displaying properly now.

Had to remove the header text in the Calendar Block View - this removed “>Calendar” from the breadcrumb of all pages that had the calendar block on it.

Best,

Alyssa
