Linking to private files

Issue/Request:

Hi Kelly from IACUC needs to publish a document that references several other documents. Kimberly spoke with Nancy and we both though this could be accomplished by:

- uploading the file that needs to be referenced via “Content” > “private files”.
- once the file is uploaded, grab the full path and use this path to link to from the main document.
- once all links are in the main document, upload the main document.

Kelly did this and the link will not work. She has a working example in dev.iacuc.yale.edu.

Can someone give Kelly a call to help her?

Kelly will schedule Office Hours to discuss how to setup the site similar to policies and procedures so the files are no longer PDFs and link easier. This will also elminate the possibility of broken links and issues with URLs being changed with the PDFs.
