Layout and captcha problem in IE

When viewed in IE, our banner and the Yale banner at the very top left of the page in the blue background is broken. Also, on that Submit your Class Notes page, the CAPTCHA doesn’t show the CAPTCHA check box so it’s bascially not functioning.

I don’t see the same problems in other browsers.

Please have a look at this url in IE11 when you have a moment. You may need to clear your browser cache first, but the banner should be fixed now. Please let me know if it looks good to you.

In my view on a Windows machine with IE11, the page looks great! The banner logos are good and the CAPTCHA is visible and usable so that fixes the problem. Thanks!

Any idea how far back in the browser versions this works? I’m sure I’ll get a comment from older alumni who haven’t updated their browsers in a decade.
