Hi Yalesites!

I do not require any action, (we deal with the wordmark with jquery)  I just wanted to say that for some reason, this site started to show the It’s Your Yale header.   I think this may coincide with the accessiblility upgrade and may affect other sites.

This following markup shows up in the “YaleSites 2016 Standard 2.x” theme (and I guess in the Delta and standard )

<div class=”topper-logo your-yale”> <a href=”http://your.yale.edu”><span class=”element-invisible”>It’s Your Yale</span>It’s Your Yale</a> </div>

Cheers!

The base templates have your-yale as the class going in instead of y-univ, y-yale or whatever was there before.    Is this intentional and will the regular Yale wordmarks be made to render to the logo via css if the site is not Your Yale?   I didn’t dig that far into the code.

Hi Mike,

I think Vincent will be able to give you a clear answer when he’s back in the office early next week. Thank you for bringing this to our attention!

Best,

Alyssa

Thanks for reporting. This was an error in template logic checking site URL to apply the header. This is now fixed on impacted sites.
