Issue with “Instagram Feeds” module
Hi - on the GSAS website, there are a couple of Instagram feeds that as of June are no longer loading new photos from Instagram. I searched on Google, and learned that Instagram changed their API in June, and the module that is being used on the GSAS site (“Instagram Feeds”) has not been updated to be compatible with the new API – in fact, Instagram Feeds is not being maintained at all any more, and is marked on the Drupal.org website as ‘obsolete’. So I would like to replace the functionality of the Instagram Feeds module. There is a module called “Instagram Block” that seems like it would work and is actively maintained, however it is not available on the GSAS site, even though it is available on other YaleSites, so I know it is ‘Yale approved’. Is there any way to update the list of modules on the GSAS site so that the Instagram Block module is enabled?
Thanks - Nick
Hi Nick;
Yes you can get the module, you just need to request a ‘site refresh’. That will update the modules listing on your site.
The link to request a refresh on your YaleSite here: http://yalesites.yale.edu/refresh-my-site.
Let us know how this module works out for your site.
Best Regards,
Carris
