Image Sizing

Hello,

I have had a problem with the ‘People’ page image sizing. Once I click on the individual photo, a photo would show up in a very large size (research scientist). I notice that if the page has more than one photo, the size would reduce.

Not sure if you could help guide me on this.  I have already done the ‘image style’ override, but the result has not changed.

Thank you.

Hi, Nuch:

The issue is a known bug. I am looking into a good work around for you. I’ll let you know as soon as I have some news for you.

You might have to consider using the Unformatted List option in the View to format the people pages and really any type of page. The grid/table has a number of issues. It is not responsive (especially when pictures are involved) and it is not accessible (people with handicaps cannot use a screen reader on a table/grid). So ITS and the Office of General Council are recommending that tables/grids not be used on websites.

Let me know you thoughts on this.

Best regards,

Carris

Hi, Nuch:

I just took a look at you site and its People pages. It looks nice and the pictures look like they are sized correctly. Can we consider this issue resolved?

Best regards,

Carris

Hello Carris,

We would like to have the photos in 3 columns the same way we used to have with the old theme. But when we do the columns, the photo sizes would not be consistent. We prefer to put them in 3 photos in one row and in the same size. Will it be possible?

Thank you.

Best regards,

Hi, Nuch:

I added some simple CSS to your site for the people page. Let me know if you like it.

Carris
