Image orientation incorrect on Gallery page

Hello,

I am attempting to upload a few pictures into a Gallery slideshow for an event that we had recently.

These pictures were sent to me by a faculty member. The pictures were originally saved as HEIC files (I believe this professor has a Mac), which I converted into a JPEG so that they could be uploaded to the site. The problem is that they keep uploading horizontally, which is the wrong orientation. They should all be vertical and I can’t figure out how to rotate them so that they display correctly.

Any advice is appreciated!

Hi Julia,

If you upload the images as .png’s (this is the preferred style and seems to have less issues) then the images should display properly.
