Dear Madam or Sir,
Our Lab had to migrate from Drupal 6 to Drupal 7.
In Drupal 7, the image galleries look different than they looked in Drupal 6. We would like the view of the image galleries that show little photo icons as we used to have in Drupal 6: http://carlson-lab.sites.yale.edu/galleries
Could you please advise us on how we have to change the settings in Drupal 7 to get this view?
Thank you very much,
Jonas
Hello Jonas,
You have to options to try and customize your image gallery. Though they wont be identical, I believe you can definitely make your gallery look close or at least better than the standard YaleSites Gallery look.
Colorbox
Colorbox is a great way to display images of videos using a pop-up type window that is mobile friendly. You can easily use module with the existing YaleSites Gallery Feature to configure the images to open as pop-ups rather than the inline out of the box display. Read More…
Juicebox
The Juicebox Module provides integration between the popular Juicebox HTML5 responsive gallery library and Drupal. Juicebox is in many ways the successor Simpleviewer and offers a powerful and flexible image gallery front-end. You can use this to configure the YaleSite Gallery Feature or for custom Content Types using an image field. Read More…
Let me know if that works for you.
