How do I add the people type role (e.g., faculty, staff, etc.) to the URL of a specific person page (not a the view page)?

I would like to add the person role in the URL to user pages based on their role, e.g.,
https://economics.yale.edu/people/STAFF/matthew-regan
or
https://economics.yale.edu/people/FACULTY/steven-berry
As of now, all people page URLs are https://economics.yale.edu/people/NAME of PERSON
Adding the role to the URL would help with taxonomy on the site, as well as help manage the page content for the different user roles.
Hi Matthew,
This should be possible by editing the path pattern, but it doesn’t look like the People type is using a taxonomy vocabulary - they seem to be manually entered. These would have to set up with a vocabulary and then have the taxonomy terms created and each user edited.

Also could you clarify if it’s the People Type field or the Roles field that you’d want to display in the URL? If using the People Type, this would be difficult because more than one option could be selected and there is no way to determine which one should take precedent for the URL, and for the Roles field this is typically for users that are editors of the site, and that title wouldn’t really need to be part of the URL. Some of the roles that were added are also quite lengthy which would make for a lengthy URL.
