How to Allow a PDF Extension in Manage Fields Image Settings

Hello,

As stated above, can you please help me allow a PDF Extension in Manage Fields Image Settings?

Via the path below, I added the pdf extension in the “Allowed file extensions field, but it doesn’t accept it.

Administration » Structure » Content types » Event » Manage fields » Image

Please advise. Thank you.

If you want to upload a PDF file, you will need to use the File Field type rather than image. If you need to upload that file as the image, you will need to save it as an image or take a picture of it and save the file as an image format jpg, png, or gif.

I hope that makes sense.
