How to add RSS ticker

Hello, I would like to add an RSS ticker to the sidebar of http://dev.epr-database.yale.edu/

This would be a box that displays relevant tweets and news from designated sites. Please note I am not looking to create an RSS feed for this site, I want to display updates from other sites on this site.

How to add such a module/widget?
